Sara Mascia and MaryAnn Marshall present a slide show and lecture on the rich history, charm, and mystery of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow and their residents. Drawing on images from their two books, Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow in the 20th Century and Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, Mascia and Marshall bring the past to life: residents at work and play, stately mansions and castles, famous personalities, and changes in fashion over the years. Also vividly brought to life is the location Washington Irving made famous in his short story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” Free!
Both books will be available for sale and autograph!
